How do I find an old Costco receipt?
Start with Costco’s own purchase history. Sign in to Costco.com, open Orders & Returns, and look under Orders & Purchases → In-Warehouse for a warehouse purchase. For an online purchase, open the order details. Save the receipt you find so you can refer to it again.
Haul Math helps you organize the receipts you import on your phone. It cannot recover a receipt that Costco does not provide, and you do not need Haul Math just to view a receipt on Costco.com.

A worked example: “When did I buy that air fryer?”

You remember buying an air fryer during the summer, but your card statement only says “Costco — $214.62.” That charge covers the entire shopping trip, so it cannot tell you what the air fryer cost.
- Check the summer date range in Costco’s warehouse history.
- Open the likely receipts and look for the air fryer’s description or item number.
- Suppose a July 12 receipt lists the air fryer at $89.99 with a $20.00 discount. The item cost before any applicable tax was $69.99.
- Save that receipt. A useful note is “air fryer, July 12, $69.99 before tax,” together with its item number.
Once the receipt is imported into Haul Math, your local archive gives you a place to find the purchase again. Check the original receipt when you need the exact line, tax treatment, or documentation for Costco.
How do I keep it on my phone?
On Android: Haul Math supports Costco receipt PDFs, receipt text, and Haul Math backups. Follow the import instructions in your installed version. Where an original PDF was imported and is still available, you can open it from the related receipt record.
On iPhone: follow Haul Math’s in-app setup for its bundled Safari receipt importer. The available Costco history is the starting point; importing does not create missing purchases.

Why is a receipt missing?
Check the selected date range, linked membership, and purchase channel first. Costco’s online history does not include every kind of purchase. If Costco cannot show the record online, use its support instructions above. If you have the receipt but an import looks wrong, compare it with the original and visit Haul Math support.
Keep a separate copy of an important original receipt. A parsed purchase record and an original receipt file serve different purposes; backup support can differ between them.
